Art and technology company The Artery has promoted Ad Agency and Commercial Industry Head of Production Deborah Sullivan to executive producer and managing director.

In her new role, she’ll focus on melding the company’s rapidly expanding creative offerings to best service its diverse client base.

The New York City-based company creates high profile visual content for feature films, television and streaming programming, commercials, music videos, art installations, experiential events and platform content.

Sullivan will report to Founder and Creative Director Vico Sharabani.

“We are expanding very rapidly and quickly evolving into a multi-disciplinary art and technology company,” Sharabani said in a statement. “As a key member of our senior management team, Deborah is already playing a crucial role leading this growth. Her vast experience in top-tier agency work, production and editorial operations will continue to help us grow in strategic and systematic new ways.”

Since joining the company this summer, Sullivan has produced a national five-spot Smart Car campaign for Merkley+Partners, with Sharabani directing the live-action campaign and The Artery handling all editorial, visual effects, final color and finishing.

“What attracted me to The Artery is their focus on the artistry behind each of their projects, and the fact that, throughout each execution, the artists lead this very collaborative process,” Sullivan said.

Prior to joining The Artery, Sullivan worked as managing director and executive producer for post-production companies NO6 and Peepshow Post. She also led advertising production departments for DDB NY and FCB, was a founding partner of independent agency Berlin Cameron and Partners, and has held executive producer posts at @Radical.media, Red Dog Films and The Bomb Factory.

Sullivan is looking forward to her new role.

“With our growing client roster, increased creative capabilities and an amazingly robust pipeline in place,” she said, “we’re perfectly positioned to partner with creative teams, directors and producers across the globe to deliver the absolute highest level of creative solutions across all platforms.”
