​Another day, another slew of announcements from the TCA summer press tour. With everyone from HBO to Turner to El Rey taking a seat in front of the critics of America on Thursday, it’s easy to feel like you missed a detail or two.

Here’s everything you need to know from Thursday’s panels:

HBO

-The new Monday night doc block has been filled out for the rest of 2014, with eleven new documentaries set for their debut on the premium cabler. Titles include: “The Newburgh Sting” (July 21) take a look at the FBI’s role in the “homegrown terror” case of the Newburgh Four; “Love Child” (July 28) which looks at Internet addiction through the story of a South Korean couple who were went to trial for negligence due to their obsessive gaming after the death of their child; “Captivated: The Trials of Pamela Smart” (Aug 18) which looks at the 21-year old New Hampshire woman accused of plotting the 1990 murder of her husband and found herself the defendant in America’s first fully-televised criminal trial; “Terror in Nairobi” (Sept. 8) examining the 2013 attack on the Westgate Mall in Kenya; and “Hunted: The War Against Gays in Russia” (October) which investigates the rise of anti-LGBT violence in Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

- Beyonce and Jay-Z are bringing their “On the Run” tour to HBO when the network tapes their Sept. 12 and 13 concerts at the Stade de France in Paris. It will be the couple’s first HBO concert.

- Lisa Kudrow’s “The Comeback” got its premiere date (sort of): Valerie Cherish and friends will return for a six-episode limited run beginning in November.

-“Boardwalk Empire” will begin its final eight-episode season on Sept. 7.

-Meryl is coming to HBO! Ms. Streep will star in HBO Films’ adaptation of the Terrance McNally play “Master Class” about Maria Callas. Mike Nichols is directing. Production begins in 2015.

-Queen Latifah will play legendary blues singer Bessie Smith in HBO Films’ “Bessie,” with production and premiere dates in 2015.

-Frances McDormand, Richard Jenkins, Tom Hanks, and Bill Murray will all star in four-part miniseries “Oliver Kitteridge,” based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel about a middle school math teacher and her relationships with the people in her small town.

CINEMAX

-Clive Owen’s “The Knick” is getting a second season pickup, even before the first season airs.

EL REY

-El Rey was passing out the early renewal love, today, too: “Matador” got a second season order. The first season premieres on July 15.

TURNER


-truTV unveiled a refreshed logo and four new series on Thursday. “Branson Famous” is billed as the first-ever reality musical; “Hack My Life” is “a comedic take on life’s little shortcuts that can save your time, effort, and money”; “Kart Life” follows kids and parents who race karts together; and “The Shake Up” is looking for bar owners with the best drink recipes.
