TNT and TBS are offering a wide array of behind-the-scenes digital experiences as part of both networks’ coverage of the 23rd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, Jan. 29.

Fans will be able to see their favorite stars live on the red carpet, and follow everything that happens across social media platforms.

TNT is teaming with People and Entertainment Weekly on the SAG Awards Red Carpet Live webcast, while TBS is partnering with Refinery 29 on an interactive pre-show that will air on Facebook Live.

The People, EW & TNT SAG Awards Red Carpet Live show will kick off on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 pm PT. The livestream will be hosted by Jeremy Parsons and Andrea Boehlke from New York City and by JD Heyman and Lola Ogunnaike from Los Angeles on the red carpet. Parsons and Boehlke host digital series People Now. Heyman is deputy editor of People and Ogunnaike hosts Entertainment Weekly, The Show on the People/Entertainment Weekly Network (PEN).

Joining the livestream will be People style and beauty director Andrea Lavinthal, InStyle fashion and beauty editor Kahlana Barfield Brown, People staff editor Lanford Beard, Entertainment Weekly movie editors Kevin Sullivan and Jessica Derschowitz, and Turner Classic Movies host Ben Mankiewicz.

People, EW & TNT’s SAG Awards® Red Carpet Live will stream simultaneously across multiple Time Inc. platforms, including the People/Entertainment Weekly Network (People.com/PEN), EW.com, InStyle.com, Essence.com and Time.com, as well as sagawards.tntdrama.com and sagawards.org. The live, streaming pre-show also will air in New York on the iconic Times Square billboard, as well as on 10 subway billboards.

For its part, TBS is partnering with Refinery29, in which Turner recently invested, on Facebook Live red carpet pre-show Carpet Diem, which will be hosted by Refinery29 associated producer Emily Curl and features writer Arianna Davis. Carpet Diem will start streaming live at www.facebook.com/refinery20 at 3:30 pm PT/6:30 pm ET Talent also will be invited to step inside Refinery29’s video booth to create shareable, social art.

Two correspondents will serve as fans’ hosts for the digital experiences. Underground’s Jurnee Smollett-Bell is this year’s SAG Awards social media ambassador, while comedian Matt Bellasai, host of web series To Be Honest, will serve as the official correspondent of Instant, People Magazine’s recently launched video platform at instant.me.

Smollett-Bell will be giving viewers an inside look at the awards in the days leading up to the show with posts on her Twitter, Facebook and Instagram handles. She’ll also post from the red carpet on Sunday.

Finally, during the ceremony, fans can check in on all their favorite stars via three webcams, all of which will be posted on TBS,’ TNT’s and the SAG Awards’ Facebook and Twitter handles.

The SAG Awards are handed out by the Screen Actors Guild and honor the year’s best acting work in both TV and film. They will be given out Sunday, Jan. 29, at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT.
