Seth Meyers, the new face of late night, is headed to SXSW this weekend to solidify his place at 12:35 and get his name out there with food, bikes and Twitter.
First, Olivia Munn will host an “Inside Late Night with Seth Meyers” panel at SXSW on March 8, also featuring show producer Mike Shoemaker. The show will also appear in branded forms throughout the city, partnering with the Shake Shack truck and SXSW’s bike share, SX Cycles. The food truck will offer free late-night grub like burgers and fries from March 8-14, and SX Cycles, which has free bikes for attendees, will also have a relaxation area where people can watch clips of “Late Night” at its rental location.
Saturday’s Comedy Opening Party will also be sponsored by the show, highlighting a green screen photo op where partygoers can take pictures as if they’re on the set. And throughout the festival, late-night fans can use the hash tag #SethSXSW to send in their best SXSW-related joke in order to win a pair of tickets to the show.
