HBO released the trailer for season two of Succession, the dramedy series that brings an all new meaning to family drama.
The trailer picks up on the heels of last season’s finale, after Kendall (Jeremy Strong) conspired to overthrow his father (Brian Cox) from control of his company, Waystar Royco. Now, the “dead man walking” will attempt to get back into his father’s good graces; however, it won’t be an easy feat.
“When did they first approach you?” Cox promptly asks him. “Did it take long, or did you open your legs on the first date?”

Succession stars Cox as the family’s patriarch, along with Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, and Alan Ruck, among others. The series is directed and executive produced by The Big Short’s Adam McKay. Showrunner Jesse Armstrong, Frank Rich, Kevin Messick, Will Ferrell, Jane Tranter, Mark Mylod and Tony Roche also executive produce the series.
Succession will premiere in August on HBO.
