Dallas-based Stephen Arnold Music on Monday released “I’m Weather Ready,” a turnkey weather marketing package for local TV stations. The toolkit includes an original song and video campaign that stations can customize using their own footage and marketing assets.

Cleared for all media usage, the package includes full song, 60-second, 30-second, 20-second, 15-second and 10-second spots and station identifications, including donuts, tags, and instrumentals. Custom lyrics and vocals also are available upon request, according to Stephen Arnold Music. “I’m Weather Ready” will be exclusive to station buyers in their markets, and can be run across platforms.

“Weather is the number-one reason why viewers watch a local newscast,” said Chad Cook, vice president, creative of Stephen Arnold Music, in a statement. “‘I’m Weather Ready’ reinforces this cornerstone of a station’s local brand by seeing it from the audience’s viewpoint. With ‘I’m Weather Ready,’ stations show they understand how weather information affects people’s lives and daily routines. That forges an organic connection that is emotional and ongoing.”

The campaign is the latest in Stephen Arnold Music’s offerings for stations, following on “Everywhere I Go,” which helped stations publicize their digital efforts,” and “Waking Up My Day,” which was a complete morning-news campaign. The two campaigns have collectively aired in more than 100 markets, says the company.
