An old friend and a new face will sign on to back up Jack Bauer and the team as official sponsors when the highly anticipated “24: Live Another Day” event series launches on May 5.
Sprint, which was a brand partner during the initial run of “24,” is again serving as the telecom sponsor. Sprint will get in-show integrations, season-long placement of Sprint phones, and a customized digital content experience where fans can complete missions to unlock additional content on Fox.com.
Chrysler is the new kid on the block as the auto sponsor for the series, with a deal that includes in-show integration, media exclusivity during key episodes, and season-long placement of the 2015 Chrysler 200 model. The carmaker will also sponsor digital content, social media activations, and the series World Premiere and Screening Event.
“The excitement of this event series being shot in London has raised the bar for collaborative partnerships with both the Chrysler brand and Sprint,” said Jean Rossi, Fox executive vice president of sales and president of FOX One Integrated Sales & Marketing. “The time and commitment working with our partners to create unique, never-been-done-before initiatives will prove to be nothing short of amazing when Jack comes back in May”
The two-hour premiere of “24: Live Another Day” launches Monday, May 5 at 8 pm ET/PT.
Brief Take: Fox has signed on two deep-pocketed sponsors for an array of activations and integrations, signaling that “24” remains a favorite of Madison Avenue.
