Paramount Network will take over for Spike on Thursday, January 18, 2018, the network announced on Monday. As part of the announcement, the network revealed its new logo, based on Paramount’s well-known and traditional mark.

The new network will debut with a live one-hour episode of its hit show Lip Sync Battle, hosted by LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen, broadcast from the Paramount lot in Hollywood. Details on performers are forthcoming.

Also in January, Paramount Network will premiere its six-part limited series, Waco, starring Michael Shannon, Taylor Kitsch, John Leguizamo and Melissa Benoist. The series takes a new look at the FBI’s 1993 siege of the Branch Davidians, a religious sect led by David Koresh.

In the first half of 2018, the network will launch several original series. Those include Yellowstone, starring Kevin Costner and written and directed by Taylor Sheridan; John Wells’ American Woman, a look at the rise of feminism in America starring Alicia Silverstone and Mena Suvari; and Heathers, a “pitch-black comedy anthology” based on the 1988 cult classic film that starred Christian Slater and Winona Ryder.

On Monday, Spike’s digital and social accounts changed over. Spike TV now can be found at ParamountNetwork.com, and the new network’s social accounts are @ParamountNet on Twitter and @ParamountNetwork on Instagram and all other social platforms.
