As Sony Pictures Television’s new SVP of marketing, US distribution, Rachel Mizuno will be responsible for all marketing efforts supporting the company’s first-run and off-net syndication, SVOD, cable and broadcast sales businesses, including overseeing affiliate marketing, media strategy, consumer marketing and promotional campaigns.
Mizuno will report to Sheraton Kalouria, EVP and CMO of Sony Pictures Television, who said in a statement: “Rachel’s rich experience in the television industry and her commitment to innovation are key to our marketing efforts. Her deep understanding of the US broadcast syndication business and her exceptional affiliate relationships will help SPT achieve its business goals.”
Previously, Mizuno served as VP of marketing for Sony Pictures Television, where she oversaw the company’s affiliate marketing department and developed and managed promotion and media plans for more than 1200 television stations in top markets for syndicated programming. She is a 19-year veteran of the TV industry.
