Sarah Palin is going rouge, again.
The Fox News talking head and former Alaska governor is launching a new digital video channel called “Rogue TV,” according to Capital New York.
The new channel, which is being described as “a video version of her Facebook page,” will be available through Tapp, the new platform launched by former NBCU Entertainment honcho Jeff Gaspin and CNN boss Jeff Klein. Subscriptions to Rogue TV will set you back 10 bucks per month.
An April or May launch date is in the works, making Palin’s venture one of the first channels on the new Tapp platform.
Expect lots of video commentaries from the outspoken conservative, as she weighs in on the current events and political news of the day, Tapp insiders told Capital New York.
Palin currently boasts about four million Facebook fans, and one million Twitter followers, and her social media reach could probably go a long way towards boosting the name recognition of the fledgling digital video service.
In addition to her Fox News gig, Palin’s reality series “Amazing America,” is currently airing on The Sportsman Channel.
