Former Alaska Governor and one-time Vice Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin launched her previously announced digital channel on Monday.
Although she has ditched the Rogue TV name, the Sarah Palin Channel is still part of the Tapp video platform conceived by former NBCU Entertainment honcho Jeff Gaspin and CNN boss Jeff Klein.
Subscriptions run $9.95 for one month, or $99.95 for the year.
In a launch video filled with upbeat music, scenes of adoring crowds, and shots of the Palin family in the outdoors, the channel’s namesake promises to tackle the issues “the media” refuses to touch, and get around Washington D.C.’ “crony capitalism.”
Palin serves as Executive Editor of the channel.
She may be hoping that her upstart channel could follow the playbook of fellow Conservative talking head Glenn Beck, whose online home The Blaze is now carried by Dish.

Brief Take: With a growing number of TV personalities headed online (Beck, Larry King, and Katie Couric, to name a few), digital platforms may provide a sort of farm league for new channels to emerge.
