Rhys Demery has joined We Are Royale as the creative agency’s executive producer, where he will help oversee client relationships and maintain quality in-house production workflows and processes.

With nearly 15 years of experience within brand, entertainment, and sports marketing, Demery hails from Big Block Media, and has held similar positions at agencies such as loyalkaspar, ModOp, and Troika.

“Rhys’ well-rounded experience, both from the agency and creative sides, supports our existing capabilities and further extends our reach into direct-to-brand territories,” Managing Director and Co-Founder Jen Lucero said in a press release. “Equally as important, his leadership from a production workflow perspective is a great asset. Rhys’ team spirit is also a perfect fit for the culture here at Royale.”

Demery has worked with a wide range of brands, including advertising campaigns for Intel, Jeep, Nike, Sony, Ubisoft, and EA Sports. Working in entertainment marketing, some of his biggest clients include traditional and OTT networks, such as NBC, FX, Hulu, and Amazon.

“I’ve long respected and admired the work Royale is known for, and I quickly realized after meeting the team here that it stems from the values and creative culture they have fostered and upheld for the past 10 years,” said Demery.

He most recently served as executive producer at Big Block Content, where he oversaw national projects for Under Armour, ESPN, and Ford. Before that, he was executive producer at loyalkaspar and ModOp, where he worked on a myriad of client-direct accounts like Anheuser-Busch InBev and CBS Sports.

From 2014 to 2016, he was managing executive producer at Troika, where he initially met and worked with Heidi Netzley, Royale’s current director of business development. Together at Royale, Demery and Netzley will oversee new and existing account relationships, focusing on elevating client services.

Demery said he immediately felt like family when joining We Are Royale and is excited to help them evolve and build outstanding produce and client experience.

“Royale just feels like the right place for me at this point in my career,” Demery said. “They align perfectly with what I’ve come to expect from a creative agency: inclusive, respectful, collaborative and, above all, a place you want to call home.”
