Discovery Latin America, Fox International Channels Latin America, and Globo are among the big winners in this year’s PromaxBDA Latin America Awards, one of the top prizes for entertainment marketing and design professionals in the region. The global association for entertainment marketing and design professionals revealed the winners Thursday in Los Angeles.

Other entertainment brands winning multiple awards include Cartoon Network Latin America, TyC Sports, Megapix, Canal Sony Latin America, Telemundo, and Turner Latina America.

“The professionals and companies we celebrate today with a PromaxBDA Award represent the pinnacle of marketing and design innovation in Latin America—and the world,” said Steve Kazanjian, President and CEO, PromaxBDA. “In one of the most competitive years in recent memory, the 2015 PromaxBDA Latin America Awards winners have set a new standard of excellence, and demonstrated how marketing and design professionals are creating new opportunities for brands in an evolving entertainment industry.”

A jury of creative leaders from across the region met in Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and Miami in September to review the finalists and select the Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners in each category.

Two veteran executives from Latin America served as jury chairs this year: Manuel Cuan, VP, Marketing and Creative Services, Turner Latin America, and VP, Marketing and Communication, Turner Brazil; and Pablo Szneiberg, VP, Original Productions and On Air Creative, Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The PromaxBDA Latin America Awards are one of 10 regional competitions around the world that precede the PromaxBDA Global Excellence Awards celebration each year at the organization’s annual conference in June.
