Iness Pleus has been promoted to Spike TV’s senior VP, operations, brand marketing and creative, said Frank Tanki, executive VP, brand marketing and creative, to whom she will continue to report. In her new role, Pleus is responsible for leading day-to-day operations across the creative and marketing groups at Spike. Pleus previously served as Spike TV’s VP, operations, creative group.

Pleus joined Viacom in 1992 as a production assistant at Nickelodeon. After stints at Lee Hunt Associates, a global entertainment branding and promotion boutique, and Razorfish, a global broadband and broadcast agency, Pleus returned to Viacom in 2002 as an operations consultant at TNN.

In 2003, Pleus served on the operations team that launched Spike TV. Pleus was promoted one year later to senior director, on-air promotions for Spike TV’s creative group.

Pleus holds an associate’s degree from Fashion Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree from the College of Staten Island in Communications. She currently resides in Cranford, NJ, with her husband and two children.
