As fall premiere week is underway, ABC released an extended trailer for the longest-running medical drama on American TV, Grey’s Anatomy.

And—to no one’s surprise—there’s plenty to unpack as the series heads into its sixteenth season, as Jo (Camilla Luddington) heads to a treatment center, Tom Koracick (Greg Germann) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) face off, Jackson’s (Jesse Williams) fate is uncovered and more.

Most notably, however, Meredith (Ellen Pomeo), Alex (Justin Chambers) and Richard (James Pickens Jr.) have all been fired from Grey Sloan in the wake of Meredith’s insurance scandal, forcing her to endure court-ordered community service in a bright orange vest.

The repercussions also serve as the season’s central theme, Jake Borelli, who portrays Levi, told Entertainment Tonight.

“…A lot of the head doctors have now lost their jobs and I think that it’s going to affect everybody in a different way. That’s where we pick up. We start to realize how one decision affects all of these doctors differently,” he said.

Grey’s Anatomy returns Thursday, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
