The British family comes to terms with their legacy in season three of Netflix’s The Crown.
That includes Queen Elizabeth II (Olivia Colman), who faces the dissatisfied public while a rivalry brews with her sister, Princess Margaret (Helena Bonham-Carter).
“On days like today ask yourself, in the time I’ve been on the throne, what have I actually achieved,” Colman’s Queen asks in the spot. “This country was still great when I came to the throne, all that’s happened on my watch is the place has fallen apart.”
Meanwhile, Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor) faces growing up as a young royal, new responsibilities, and a budding romance with Camilla Shand (Emerald Fennell).
The trailer, set to a cover of Bob Dylan’s “The Times They Are A Changin’,” follows a brief teaser that introduced Colman’s Queen after a substantial time jump in the series.
