Renie Anderson has been named SVP of sponsorship and partnership management for the NFL.

The newly created position will include new business as well as daily management of NFL sponsors. She had been VP of business development since 2011 and before that was director of business development since 2007. She has been with the NFL since 2006.

The move follows the recent departure of David Pattillo, the NFL’s VP of sales for NFL Media, to Twitter, where he will oversee East Coast sales beginning in October.
