Fans of Channel 4’s gritty British drama Top Boy have been waiting six years for the Ronan Bennett-created series to return and finally, it’s here.

Ten new episodes of the series will premiere on Netflix on Friday, Sept. 13, after rap star Drake adopted the cause to revive the show and brought it to the streaming service. The new installment is executive produced by Drake and his business partner Adel “Future” Nur, along with Maverick Carter and Jamal Henderson for LeBron James’ SpringHill Entertainment.

The new episodes start with dealer Dushane (Ashley Walters) returning from exile in Jamaica to his home in an East London public housing unit looking to reclaim his position in the highly lucrative but illegal drug market. He teams up with Sully (Kane Robinson), who also is just returning to the neighborhood after doing time in prison.

Awaiting them both is a new king of the street—Jamie (Micheal Ward). He’s young, hungry and ruthless and has no interest in ceding his hard-won territory to men who lost the lead.

Top Boy is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, Nia DaCosta, Aneil Karia and Brady Hood. The series features original music by Brian Eno and additional music by Michael “Mikey J” Asante.
