Stranger Things, The Crown and GLOW are just some of the series that Netflix will showcase in a five-week exhibition promoting some of its top shows for awards consideration.
Leading into the 2018 Emmy season, Netflix’s second annual “FySee” https://www.fyc.netflix.com/ will kick-off May 6 with a party featuring surprise guests, and run through June 10 at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles. In a 30,000 square-foot space spread across three soundstages, cast and creators will be on hand to mix and mingle with industry and guild members. While industry events will be invitation only, the exhibition will be open to the public for the first time.
Also new this year is a 300-seat theater for screenings and panels, as well as an expanded experiential floor that will accommodate more than 500 guests and immersive activations for Emmy-nominated programs.
Attendees will be able to interact with top creatives, both in front of and behind the camera, across Netflix’s programming. The streamer will also host a handful of themed activations such as:
—“Rebels and Rulebreakers,” a female-led event showcasing the leading ladies of Orange is the New Black, GLOW, and Grace and Frankie;
—“Scene Stealers,” featuring stars who delivered this year’s most critically-acclaimed performances;
—“Docu(Mmm)entary Food Night,” a culinary celebration with talent and cuisines featured in documentary, informational and reality series;
—“Change in Focus,” featuring actors who have gone behind-the-camera, or delivered surprise performances, creating the kind of singular experience you have to see to believe.
