Eight wrongfully convicted victims chronicle their untold stories in Netflix’s new docuseries, The Innocence Files.

The series follows The Innocence Project, a nonprofit legal organization that uses DNA testing to exonerate the wrongfully convicted. While doing so, they’ll peel back flaws in the justice system through three categories—The Witnesses, The Evidence and The Prosecution—as they attempt to grant freedom to those who unfairly faced serious jail time.

“I think the best thing that a lawyer can do with their license is get an innocent guy out of prison,” lawyer Ellen Eggers says in the above spot.

The nine-part series drops April 15 on Netflix.
