In a further push to its TV Everywhere campaign, NBC has made its full programming lineup available to its 10 NBC Owned Television Stations across the country.
This means that viewers in those markets who pay for a cable subscription can now access NBC content through their local station’s website or app on a computer, tablet or smartphone. This includes local station news, primetime, sports, syndicated programming and late-night shows as well as a library of VOD content.
“Whether you’re sitting at home watching The Blacklist on your iPad, tuning into the latest weather forecast on your train ride to work or taking your lunch break in front of your computer watching Days of Our Lives, we know our local NBC audiences will appreciate having the full lineup of NBC programming available to them as they go about their busy lives,” said Valari Staab, president of NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations. “Our stations are committed to making it easy and convenient for viewers to watch our programming and this is one more step in that effort.”
NBC previously used the Super Bowl telecast and last year’s Olympics to push its TV Everywhere expansion.
The markets currently included are: WNBC New York, KNBC Los Angeles, WMAQ Chicago, WCAU Philadelphia, KXAS Dallas-Fort Worth, KNTV San Francisco, WRC Washington, D.C., WTVJ Miami-Fort Lauderdale, KNSD San Diego and WVIT Connecticut.
NBC affiliates will follow suit throughout the year.
