NBC is taking advantage of some down time after the Olympics and while “The Voice” is ramping up its season to debut two of its midseason dramas sure to make waves.

“Believe,” from J.J. Abrams and “Gravity’s” Alfonso Cuarón, is about a 10-year-old girl who is beginning to control powers she couldn’t understand until now as outside threats close in on her and her new protector. The first look video, above, focuses on her journey and how Cuarón translates that into an intriguing drama with powerful visual tones.

“Crisis,” a new thriller starting with a simple field trip, stars big names such as Gillian Anderson, Dermot Mulroney and Rachael Taylor. The story begins with a group of students in D.C., but their trip is interrupted when an ambush takes them by surprise and their families and the government become part of some unknown master plan.

“Believe” debuts March 10 after “The Voice” on NBC, “Crisis” on March 16.
