Matt LeBlanc slides into the driver’s seat as a new Top Gear host.
In the latest teaser trailer, LeBlanc (Friends) has a bit of a struggle getting himself into the driver’s seat of a Ariel Nomad — “a door would be nice,” he quips — before speeding off through the Moroccan desert.
LeBlanc takes the wheel for the 23rd season of BBC America’s car show, replacing Jeremy Clarkson, whose contract was not renewed last year following an alleged physical altercation with a producer. Richard Hammond and James May also left the show and are forming a new series on Amazon Prime.
The new Top Gear team includes LeBlanc, Eddie Jordan, Sabine Schmitz, Chris Harris, Rory Reid, and Chris Evans.
