Mark S. Clark has been named head of development at 2C Originals, the original content division of Miami-based 2C Media Inc., said 2C Co-Founder Chris Sloan.

“Mark is very ‘hands on’ in every aspect of development and production,” said Sloan in a statement. “He is a passionate storyteller who is sure to have some very exciting things in store for the 2C slate.”
Clark has been working as a freelance editor and producer for 2C since the company first launched in 2005. Along the way, he has helped launch Fox’s MyNetworkTV as well as playing an integral part in creating promotional campaigns for ABC Family (now Freeform), Animal Planet, CNN, Comedy Central, Fox, History, Science Channel and Velocity. Over the past 12 years, he has served as a writer, editor, producer and director on more than 100 short- and long-form projects.
Clark also has worked with 2C to develop four series, including Travel Channel’s Airport 24/7: Miami, which he co-executive produced and directed for three seasons. He also helped 2C develop CMT’s Danger Coast, WE tv’s A Stand Up Mother and Planet Green’s Future Food.
