It’s a tough time to be in the reality TV business: old stalwarts are showing their age, and new hits are proving elusive.

Still, the unscripted genre is a powerful force in the industry, and provides much of the programming that helps define major cable brands like Bravo, History, and and E!

And if there were a king of Reality TV Land, it would have to be Mark Burnett, who tops The Hollywood Reporter‘s ranking of 2015’s 30 Most Powerful Reality TV Players.

The CEO of the United Artists Media Group has shows on the air at each of the Big Four broadcast networks, as well as the highly anticipated scripted series A.D.: The Bible Continues at NBC.

Cris Abrego and Charlie Corwin claimed the No. 2 spot on the list. The co-chairmen of Endemol Shine North America count Big Brother, Master Chef, and American Idol amongst their portfolio.

Warner Bros. unscripted boss Mike Darnell follows at No. 3, powered by the strength of The Voice, the top reality program on TV. He’s also working with No. 1 Burnett on the forthcoming 500 Questions for ABC.

A pair of Fox hosts who are also prolific producers round out the top 5: Gordon Ramsey (No. 4) and Ryan Seacrest (No. 5).
