Major League Gaming has distributed its e-sporting events via cable nets like ESPN and streaming partnerships with Twitch, but now it has a place to call home at MLG.tv.

Since 2002, Major League Gaming has built up a loyal audience by distributing events in which gamers go head to head. It operates the MLG Pro Circuit as well as MLG: Play, a tournament system for the e-sports league.

MLG.tv, launched today, will serve as its premium streaming platform available on the Web and mobile devices. The platform will run live events and tournaments as well as its own series like its weekly “eSports Report.” MLG has also signed up “Call of Duty’s” OpTic Gaming and the European e-sports league Gfinity to run content on MLG.tv.
