Comic-Con fans don’t actually need a pass to the convention to feel like they’re there, thanks to a handful of live broadcasts and online streams featuring on-the-ground, in-the-moment coverage.

SyFy will provide daily live coverage with SyFy Presents Live from Comic-Con, hosted by Will Arnett. Those who can’t attend in person can tune in to the network’s first-ever live broadcast from the convention, taking place at the Marriott Marquis in downtown San Diego. It will air on SyFy Thursday, July 21 through Saturday, July 23 at 8 p.m./7 p.m. central.

Arnett will focus on breaking news, insider party coverage, series sneak peeks and celebrity interviews. He’s heading to Comic-Con prepared with important questions such as: What’s The Strain? And can it be cured with penicillin? What will Brexit do to the value of my Dr. Who memorabilia? Is Luke Cage related to Nicolas Cage?

Fox will be using Facebook Live to launch a live broadcast from the Fox Facebook page from Thursday July 21 through Sunday, July 24.

Host Shira Lazar, co-founder, CEO and host of Emmy-nominated live interactive daily show What’s Trending will focus on interviews and interactive Q&As with cast members and creators from Fox shows, along with streams of new trailers, panel highlights and more.

Conan O’Brien is also recording a week’s worth of live shows for Conan from San Diego’s Spreckles Theater from Thursday, July 21 through Sunday, July 24. Each episode will air on TBS at 11 p.m. the following day, and will be available across digital, mobile and VOD platforms.

Last year, Conan became the first late-night show to tape a week’s worth of episodes from Comic-Con, and is continuing the live coverage this year.

Guests include cast members from Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, Suicide Squad “Weird Al” Yankovic, and others.

Comic-Con International is also jumping on board the live stream trend through the Comic Con HQ app, and is offering free trials that will end on July 25. The organization is also streaming the convention on its Facebook page using Facebook Live video.

And after the conference, the organization has plans to provide year-round coverage through its subscription-based app.

Programming would include daily and weekly entertainment commentary, live and archival footage from events, behind-the-scenes access, bonus features and more, Comic-Con Executive Vice President and General Manager Seth Laderman told Fox.

“For nearly half a century, Comic-Con has served as the definitive common ground where the fans of genre entertainment come together to express their passion for comics and pop culture,” Laderman said. “Comic-Con HQ aspires to extend that exchange 365 days a year, bringing everything we love about Comic-Con to the world in ways never before seen and experienced. The new platform will provide a year-round destination to enjoy all facets of the community and access the vast diversity of content the world has come to expect from the largest and longest-running pop cultural celebration of the year.”
