Santa Monica-based production company King and Country has nabbed Lisa Miller as their new Managing Director of Networks & Brands.

Miller was previously vp of integrated marketing at LA-based mOcean, where she worked for six years.

“We’re very excited about Lisa joining our team,” says Jerry Torgerson, King and Country partner & executive producer. “The entertainment market is one we’ve been involved in for many years, and Lisa’s passion for and deep understanding of this space will help us expand our brand in the most strategic way possible.”

Miller has worked on high-profile 360-degree campaigns, network rebrands, show launches and advertising for broadcast clients including ABC, CBS, Discovery Communications, Dish Network, Scripps Networks and Turner Broadcasting. She was also involved in the Daytime Emmy-winning 10th Anniversary Campaign for Ellen and Warner Brothers Television, which won a Daytime Emmy.

“For years, I’ve been aware of King and Country’s extraordinary ability to integrate live-action with stellar design and effects,” says Miller. “The level of detail that they apply to a project from the conceptual phase through execution was a major draw for me. Beautiful imagery and sound strategy are certainly critical to a campaign’s success, but the ability to properly execute every stage of a project in a way that makes our clients feel completely supported and confident is equally important. I truly believe that King and Country strikes that balance perfectly.”

King and Country has been expanding their entertainment marketing business over the past several years, recently completing projects for NBC, History Channel, Fox Sports, Travel Channel, and Golf Channel.
