Nat Geo’s SharkFest is celebrating its 10th anniversary by growing bigger than ever. Across four weeks, the annual summer event focusing on all things shark will add 27 premieres of new content airing across Nat Geo, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Mundo, Disney Plus, Disney XD, ABC, ESPN and Hulu. Last year’s event was longer by two weeks but aired on less platforms.

In the sizzle above and the event sell below, rapper Li’l Jon shouts about “sharks,” accompanied by perfectly timed footage edited by Ignition Creative. The spots also have summer-shaded motion graphics courtesy of Motion504.

The new content explores more than 15 different species of shark and features footage from all over the world, including the Galapagos Islands, Costa Rica, Australia, Hawaii, South Africa, the Maldives and across the U.S.

SharkFest 2022 got underway on Sunday, July 10 across the platforms of Disney.
