Lifetime teamed with Intel and its virtual reality technology, Voke VR, to allow fans to experience the season-15 finale of Project Runway in virtual reality.
Viewers who want to try it out need a VR headset, which includes Samsung Gear VR or Google Cardboard, and either the Voke VR app from the Oculus store or by downloading Lifetime’s app on iOS or Android.
Part two of the show’s season finale airs Thursday, Dec. 22 at 8 p.m. on Lifetime, but it will also be available on demand in both apps. Additionally, viewers can watch a customizable viewing experience on their PC on Lifetime’s website. There, viewers can choose their own point of view and pan around for a 180-degree of the program.
Intel also was the official technology partner of New York Fashion Week 2017, and for that event Intel offered viewers a virtual reality experience in the front row of select fashion shows.
Actress and singer Zendaya joins Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Zac Posen and Tim Gunn on the runway as the guest judge to name the winner of season 15.
