Labor Day cannot come soon enough for some ‘90s fans, since it signals the debut of Lifetime’s “The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story,” a behind-the-scenes look at the Saturday morning show that made the careers of many.
Based on the book by Dustin Diamond (Screech) that may or may not be based in fact, the story follows the teen stars from the show’s beginning through some troubling and dramatic times. The official trailer, above, features the beat to ‘90s hit “Poison,” which might point to what those dramatic moments are. Most notably, however, is the actor playing Zach pulling his signature time-out move in a crowd of screaming girls at the end of the trailer.
