​Valued at between $800 million and $1 billion, Liberty Global’s Chellomedia, along with its 68 sports, movie, cooking and other networks, is up for sale. The move comes in the thick of Liberty’s move to acquire UK cable operator Virgin Media, perhaps indicating that John Malone’s company is moving to focus on cable systems over TV channels.

Chellomedia‘s $514 million revenue in 2012 was only a small part of Liberty’s total $10 billion revenue for the year.
