Los Angeles-based creative marketing agency, Compadre, has named Jessica Garcia-Scharer head of production.

Garcia-Scharer will bring over 15 years of experience in senior production and marketing to her new role. Prior to joining Compadre, she served as director of on-air promotions at Fox Sports Marketing, where she worked on the Men’s World Cup “Root for Your Roots” partnership campaign.

Prior to that, Garcia-Scharer served as senior producer at Digital Kitchen, where she spearheaded the planning and execution of the AT&T U-verse national advertising campaign, and head of production at creative branding agency Loyalkaspar.

“Jessica truly understands how to bring everyone together to do their best work,” says Robert Blatchford, Compadre co-president. “She’ll lead the charge in terms of streamlining internal processes and ensuring a smooth client experience, so our creatives can focus on collaborating and solving problems for our clients.”

“I wanted to join Compadre because I believe in these guys,” Scharer added. “Robert and Chuck are pioneers in this industry, so it’s an honor to be a part of the foundational team they’ve assembled here. I like that they want to do things differently—and they bring a lot of enthusiasm to the process, internally and with clients. Every day, we are navigating a new client challenge together, so I don’t see this becoming stale any time soon.”
