Jennifer Ball has been named head of marketing at PromaxBDA, reporting to Steve Kazanjian, president and CEO of the global trade association of entertainment marketing and design.
“Jennifer brings a combination of business expertise and marketing leadership to PromaxBDA,” said Kazanjian in a statement. “She is recognized in the industry for building high performing teams and developing strategies that accelerate growth for entertainment brands and their partners. Jennifer’s strategic, creative, and digital background will provide leadership and inspiration to the association and its members as we enter a new and exciting time in our industry.”

In the newly created position, Ball will lead the evolution of PromaxBDA’s marketing and brand vision, as well as work to forge strategic partnerships among emerging content and digital companies.
Ball comes to the association from Univision, where she has served as executive vice president of marketing and content partnerships since 2009. Prior to that, she was vice president of distribution marketing at A+E Networks.
Ball has received numerous awards from CTAM, PromaxBDA and other industry organizations for marketing excellence, and was recognized in Cablefax’s “Most Powerful Women in Cable” and Multichannel News’ “Wonder Women.” Ball has served on the Board of Directors for CTAM, chaired the CTAM Mark Awards committee and completed the Betsy Magness Leadership Program.
