Basketball star Shaquille O’Neal confuses Shark Week for Shaq Week in Discovery’s promo for its annual programming block.
The fun spot shows him walking down a hallway talking about how excited he is to have an entire week devoted to him. But he soon realizes what he signed up for when he walks out onto a deck, is suited up in diving gear and put into a shark cage.
“I can’t believe it’s Shark Week,” he mutters, shaking his head as he’s lowered into the ocean.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the event, set to kick off July 22 at 8 p.m.
