In Imaginary Forces’ main titles for Apple TV+‘s original series, For All Mankind, a single point of light is the jumping-off mark for America’s journey into space, starting with the moon in 1969.
That single point expands throughout the sequence, all of which is wrought in geometric black and gold.
The series imagines what might have happened if the Soviet Union had beaten the U.S. to the moon, and if, as a result, women were the first astronauts instead of men.
For All Mankind stars Joel Kinnaman, Michael Dorman, Sarah Jones, Shantel VanSanten, Wrenn Schmidt and Jodi Balfour. It’s created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi, and directed by Seth Gordon.
