After crash-landing on planet Earth, four aliens attempt to live in suburban America in Hulu’s new animated series, Solar Opposites.

But between pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty, half of them are convinced that Earth is awful, while the remaining two love humans and all their TV, junk food, and fun stuff.

Despite their differences, they must complete one mission while encountering zombie teenagers, magicians, “gooblers” and more: protect the Pupa, “a living super computer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth,” Hulu says.

The series is co-created by Ricky and Morty team Justin Roiland (co-creator) and Mike McMahan (former head writer). Series regulars include Roiland, Thomas Middleditch, Mary Mack, and Sean Giambrone.

The series, produced by 20th Century Fox Television and executive produced by Roiland, McMahan and Josh Bycel, premieres May 8 on Hulu.
