From gutting a fish to making raisin necklaces, At Home with Amy Sedaris cordially invites viewers into her home for a comedic take on crafting.

The truTV series focuses on Sedaris’ homemaking skills as each episode revolves around a theme such as entertaining the grieving, the craft of love making, and cooking without pots and pans.

“She’ll use her unique expertise to entertain guests, demonstrate her know-how by preparing meals, and exhibit her can-do spirit by attempting to work out personal issues,” according to truTV.

“Remember, if you want to be the perfect host accentuate the positives, and medicate the negatives.”

The format features Sedaris with guests playing characters—with the exceptions being personalities Stephen Colbert and Jane Krakowski.

“I’m actually not good at making anything. But i’m really good at spotting people who have talent and can make things for me,” Sedaris said at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, while talking about her love for home ec since high school, and her lifelong dream of doing a “very non-Martha Stewart” homemaking show.
