In this spot, The Night Shift star Jill Flint gets to deliver the news to Chicago-based nonprofit My Block, My Hood My City, founded by Jahmal Cole, that they are the recipients of $30,000 in good and services as part of the Mazda Drive for Good program in partnership with NBCUniversal.

Cole takes kids from poor parts of the city to parts of town that they’ve never seen to expose them to different ideas, different cultures and different professions, with the goal of changing their whole reality.

The piece was directed by Bodega’s Adam Reid and edited by Northern Lights editor Chris Carson.
