FX’s latest anthology collaboration with Ryan Murphy—Feud: Joan and Bette —premieres Sunday night and even the new series’ main titles are buzzy.

FX and Murphy teamed with frequent collaborator Prologue on main titles that are reminiscent of Saul Bass. Bass, and his wife Elaine, were prevalent main title designers in the era Feud covers.

The music was composed by Mac Quayle who in turn was inspired by late composer Bernard Hermann, who was a frequent collaborator of Alfred Hitchcock’s on movies such as Psycho, Vertigo and North by Northwest and who scored many other movies and TV shows.
