An angel and a demon join forces to find a way to save the world in Amazon Prime’s new series Good Omens.
“Armageddon is coming, and then it’s all over. No more fascinating little restaurants where they know you. No more old book shops,” says demon Crowley (David Tennant) in the streamer’s trailer.
“There must be some way of stopping it,” responds angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen).
The spiritual odd couple have been friends for 6,500 years and over that long span grown fond of life on earth. However, the end of time grows near and now they have to work together to save humanity.
“It won’t be the war to end all wars,” Crowley says in the trailer, which debuted during New York Comic-Con. “It will be the war to end everything.”
The series is based on the novel by the late Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, who serves as creator and executive producer.
Good Omens is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video in 2019.
