“We’re here together, as sisters and brothers, all fighting for the same cause: for love, acceptance, and peace,” says Hailie Sahar, who plays Lulu in FX’s musical dance drama Pose about the 1980s LGBTQ community in lower Manhattan.
“Your job is to be authentic to you, regardless of how people see you, regardless of what they’re able to see,” says James Van Der Beek, who plays Matt in the series.
“You are enough, and anything is possible, says MJ Rodriguez, who plays Blanca.
The statements from cast are part of FX’s promo, “Love Letters” that encourages viewers to share their own stories of love and acceptance through the hashtag #Pose4Love.
Pose premieres June 3 on FX.
