If you were a kid in 1976, The Omen was the stuff of nightmares. The movie, about a child born into the world as the prophesied anti-Christ, left enough of a mark that people are still rebooting it today.

A&E will debut a series based on the movie, although no premiere date has been announced, and this week offered the first look at the new show starring Homeland‘s Bradley James as 30-year-old Damian Thorn, and Barbara Hersey as his mother.

Six episodes of the series originally were sold to Lifetime but the project ended up moving over to A&E with a ten-episode order. Former Walking Dead show runner Glen Mazzara and Ross Fineman are executive producers on the show, which comes from Fox Television Studios.
