Disney Plus once again partners with sister company National Geographic on two natural history documentaries in honor of Earth Day, April 22.

Explorer: The Last Tepui features climbers Alex Honnold (Free Solo) and Mark Synnott as they set out to climb the never-before-attempted steep faces of one of Guyana’s tepuis. Their goal: to assist Dr. Bruce Means in his search for undiscovered animal species in a place that is not known to have been searched by modern scientists.

Closer to home, Nat Geo returns to Apricot Lane Farms in Ventura County, Calif., where John and Molly Chester turned almost barren land into a verdant farm, hosting all sorts of animals including Emma the Pig and Moe the lamb. The documentary, a follow-up to 2018’s award-winning The Biggest Little Farm, also educates viewers on the importance of soil health, biodiversity and regeneration.
