Ahead of the premiere of Star Wars: Ahsoka, starring Rosario Dawson in the title role, Disney Plus reminded fans of the threads that run through all of Star Wars with the below spot, “Masters and Apprentices.” The spot showcases several pairs of masters and their padawans, including Luke and Obi-Wan, Luke and Yoda (and Luke and Baby Yoda), Obi-Wan and Annakin, Ahsoka and Sabine and even a few more.

The spot helps even people who have not seen the animated Star Wars series – including Clone Wars and Rebels, where Ahsoka first appeared – see that the series might offer something new and entertaining for them.

Masters and Apprentices

Disney Plus also released another trailer in the more traditional format, revealing a little more about some of the series’ characters that have never before been seen in live action, including Mandalorian princess Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) and rebel pilot Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead).

Now or Never

Finally, Disney Plus included Ahsoka in its “Next on Disney+” spot, which also includes looks at Guardians of the Galaxy, vol. 3; High School Musical: The Musical: The Series; The Amazing Spider-Man 2; and much more.

Star Wars: Ahsoka debuts with a two-episode premiere Wednesday, August 23 on Disney Plus.
