Coming off of a victory in which the Mighty Ducks won back their name, the team and their coach, Alex Morrow (Lauren Graham) head to a summer hockey camp led by former NHL player Colin Cole (Josh Duhamel). They’re expecting a fun time at camp but what they find is something much more competitive. Quitting definitely crosses the minds of the rag tag team with a heart as they try to get through the grueling sessions with their bodies and self-esteem intact.
Besides Graham, who also executive produces, and Duhamel, the series also stars Brady Noon, Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Taegen Burns, and DJ Watts with Naveen Paddock joining the cast as a series regular.
The Disney Branded Television series is produced by ABC Signature. Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa serve as showrunners and executive producers. Additional executive producers include George Heller, Brad Petrigala, Jordan Kerner, Jon Avnet and Steve Brill.
Season two of Disney Plus’ The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers premieres Wednesday, September 28.
