Former Disney marketing executive Ron Pomerantz is moving to the agency world, spearheading Pongo’s new creative content division as its new VP of content and strategy.

Pomerantz was previously VP of marketing and creative at Disney Channel, where the Emmy-winning creative oversaw the launch of Disney Junior in 2011.

Pongo, who is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, has tasked Pomerantz with building out its creative content division, responsible for PSAs, interstitials and branded integrations.

“Ron’s work is unique in the landscape,” said Pongo Founder and CEO Tom McGough. “He has over 300 episodes of interstitial series under his belt, two Emmy’s and countless Telly’s and PromaxBDA honors. His experience perfectly compliments our current offerings- and will greatly benefit our clients.”
