The president has an announcement: after being canceled by ABC in 2018, Designated Survivor will return for its third season this summer on Netflix.

The streamer unveiled the premiere date with a recap video led by Kiefer Sutherland, who plays President Kirkman in the series. Sutherland takes viewers through all that’s happened in the first two seasons, which are now available on Netflix.

The political thriller follows Tom Kirkman, a Cabinet member who unexpectedly becomes President of the United States after a disastrous terrorist attack. As Kirkman becomes immersed in the world of politics, the series questions if “a good man can stay a good man.” However, season three will prove to be his biggest test yet, according to Sutherland in the video.

Designated Survivor is created by David Guggenheim, who serves as executive producer along with Mark Gordon, Sutherland, Baer, Suzan Bymel, Simon Kinberg, Aditya Sood and Peter Noah.

It returns June 7 on Netflix.
