Conan O’Brien will hit the German capital of Berlin in his primetime special Conan Without Borders: Berlin this Wednesday, Dec. 7.
The talk-show host, who has taken his show to such destinations as Cuba, South Korea and Armenia will now make a televised visit to the renowned German metropolis.
In the clip, Conan sports lederhosen and learns a traditional Bavarian dance to music from an accordion at a German beer hall, while repeatedly getting hit in the face by his instructors.
Later, Conan’s longtime cohort Andy Richter gets in on the act, also sporting lederhosen, and attempts to mimic his dancing instructors by grabbing and flipping Conan upside-down.
While lederhosen are more typically Bavarian and not Berlin flare, the host shared images through his Instagram of other things he gets up to in the German capital: visiting a nude beach, getting punished by a German dominatrix and shopping at a quirky Berlin flea market.
Conan Without Borders: Berlin airs Dec. 7 at 10 p.m. ET on TBS.
