Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World and Good Sam Enterprises, is back on CNBC’s The Profit as the demanding entrepreneur and investor who puts his own money on the line to save and grow small businesses across the U.S.

Just as in previous seasons, each crop of entrepreneurs must allow Lemonis to take over temporary control of their companies in order for him to determine whether they are worthy of further investments of his time and money.

Thus far, Lemonis has invested more than $35 million of his own money in companies featured in the series.

This season, the series will showcase Bowery Kitchen Supplies and Susana Monaco in NYC; DiLascia, Flex Watches, Murchison-Hume and Pacific Hospitality Design in Los Angeles; Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour Restaurants in Orange County, Calif.; and several more.

The series is produced for CNBC by Machete Productions with Amber Mazzola serving as executive producer. Jim Ackerman and Luke Bauer are executive producers for CNBC.

CNBC’s The Profit returns for season four on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
